JaxAngels Leads $625k Seed Round Investment in AI Technology Company

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan 20, 2021 – Jacksonville investment group JaxAngels announces an investment in the Florida technology company Call Simulator, Inc. Call Simulator™ is an AI-powered, immersive training platform that harnesses the power of AI to create realistic, Speech-to-Speech call simulations. Call Simulator’s technology allows for significantly reduced cost and increased speed to proficiency among call center employees.

The company spent two years working with leading 9-1-1 emergency call centers and the global leader in emergency protocols, Priority Dispatch, to create the first AI-powered simulator for training emergency call takers. With the new funding, Call Simulator will expand its team and make its training software available across a range of industries including; telehealth, banking, insurance, and tier-1 brand customer support.

The investment comes from JaxAngels, a group of angel investors whose mission is to make available two of the most necessary assets that an early-stage company needs; one is capital, and the other is advice and mentoring.

“Working with JaxAngels has been fantastic. In addition to the funding, they are giving us access to connections and mentors that will help take our business to the next level. Our Seed Round is now oversubscribed and we are beginning to plan our A-Round,” said David Lawson, CEO & Co-Founder of Call Simulator, Inc.

“We are extremely excited about working with David and the Call Simulator team. We believe they have a powerful solution focused on one of the most urgent problems facing businesses today, which is the professional development of call center skills and expertise. They fit the ideal profile of our investment model,” according to Vikas Rijsinghani, JaxAngels board member.

JaxAngels is seeking out early-stage founders currently in the market, generating sales with a highly qualified dedicated team, and is looking for seed capital and expert advice. JaxAngels came together in June 2019 as a group of individuals interested in working with founders of fast-growing companies located in our region. JaxAngels is also interested in creating jobs and economic growth for Jacksonville.
